The Harpeth is a lovely property and the only hotel in the historic downtown of Franklin. The 1799 restaurant was very good. The staff was always helpful and kind and worked to overcome every issue.The hotel itself is quite nice; the balcony rooms are best.

The location was great, but the property itself is showing its age. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Not much interaction with staff except at check-in. We chose not to take advantage of the breakfast, but the dining area appeared clean and well stocked.
